To get the white background, I used the Dodge & Burn tool. This was to make sure that the background behind the model could be edited to whatever I want. For example, I can have an explosion effect, a battlefield, whatever.
This was my original image for my front cover. As you can see, this is un-edited, The Dodge & Burn tool has been used on the edited version as it gives more space to add text - which would be visible - instead of having the background dark.

In this image I have used the clone stamp tool. The clone stamp tool selects and area of an image, and then uses these pixels to cover over any marks. the clone stamp tool acts like a brush so you can change the size of the tool. I have used the clone stamp tool to get rid of the blemishes on my model and now his face is blemish free.
The image above is an image that took from the unedited photo-shoot which isn't as sharp as the picture below, the edited version. As we can see with the image below, the hair and facial features are more noticeable.

In this image I have used the curves tool. This tool can adjust points throughout the image't tonal range. As demonstrated here, I have adjusted the graph so i have a green effect on my model. This was done to show that
Desaturate
Noise - The Noise filters add or remove noise or pixels with randomly disturbed colour levels. Due to this, a selection can be blended into the surrounding pixels. Noise filters can create usual textures or remove problem areas, such as dust and scratches, from an image.
Layers DPS Project
This is the first image of my magazine project. As seen here I was new to Adobe Indesign. As seen in the image here, I have used my guidelines efficiently thus resulting in the text being aligned giving my project a professional look.As I was new to Adobe Indesign, admittedly I did stretch images at first as I wasn't sure of what I was doing regarding images. In the first stages I didn't add page numbers as I thought there was a tool/feature that would add them. I didn't think this was manual as it looks like a professional magazine software. The listing, admittedly looked poor.

This is the final edit of my DPS project. Noticeably I have added page furniture. This makes the magazine more eye catching and desirable. The listing looks a lot better since i added a red background, this is eye catching. My favourite piece of page furniture is the rating system as it was my own idea and no one else in my class implemented this into their work. I have put captions on my big images, I thought this was a good idea and made my magazine look a bit more professional.
